Transformers

Either Robot or Machine transformers can be supplied at very competitive prices

MFDC

With MFDC transformer selection is less important as it is possible to control the welding over a broad spectrum.

We offer 20kA and 36kA. Larger currents should not be required as material that require currents above this will need greater pressures than that of which the guns can develop.

AC

AC is only offered on budget systems. The benefits of MFDC are so big that the choice of AC is not recommended any more unless customer specified. 

The price difference today is not so great and as a percentage of a robot system it is not normally a issue.

Transformers are offered from 36kVA to 103KVA. Final output current will depend on the arm configuration and material within the magnetic field of the gun.
