Universal Drive modules  UD Range

To create flexible Robot positioning systems Bauromat has a range of modular drive units that are easily integrated into various configurations. Versions include slewing ring or direct drive styles for flexible design.

All with Horizontal or vertical mounting options, due to the various mix and match combination of gearboxes we are able to tailor performance with gearbox and servo motor selection.

Adaptors for all robot motors are available, the compact size of the UD1 version allows simple integration into small cells with payloads of over 1000Kg possible while the UD5 can be used for loads to 20,000kg in standard form.

UD1  

Compact  head drive unit with slewing ring available with output torques to 3000 Nm.
The UD1 version includes high load slewing ring with adjustable twin safety switches.

This option give great flexibility with integration with a large central hole for electrical and pneumatic services for tooling.

Optional earth ring available*

*We always advise to use direct earth connection to tooling if design allows as this will always give the most reliable welding connection.

UDD1
Direct drive version using Sumitomo A45 gear head to give backlash free positioning and increased accuracy.

UD2
Next frame size up and only available in slewing ring version but with output capacity to 9,000Nm
Output used for payloads to 5000kg.

UD5
Largest standard drive module in current range with output torques to over 50,000Nm
Used in heavy duty turntables and centre mount turntables.

Other uses include
Overhead swing units.
Tilt and Turn systems.
Head and tail units for ultra heavy applications.
Inter press  units ( to give robots greater reach)
